Leisureville Lake Unit J Condo Association
Laundry Room Rules and Guidelines
1. Machine Use
Do not overload washers or dryers.
Place small items in mesh bags before washing or they may get caught in the washers.
Use the laundry machines responsibly. Avoid overloading or placing items such as sneakers, throw rugs, large bedspreads, or other heavy/bulky items that can damage or unbalance the equipment.
Pet Items: Do not wash or dry pet-specific items such as pet bedding, blankets, or toys, as these can introduce excessive hair and dander that damage the machines and may cause allergic reactions for other residents. When washing clothing or linens that may contain pet hair, please thoroughly clean the washer and dryer drums, doors, and filters afterward to ensure the machines remain sanitary for the next resident.
Remove clothing promptly once cycles are complete so others may use the machines.
Report any broken or malfunctioning machines to King Coin, Inc. 561-585-3419.
2. Cleanliness – Everyone’s Responsibility
Lint Traps: Clean dryer lint screens after every load.
Wipe Machines: After use, please wipe down the washer and dryer doors, lids, and surfaces so they are clean for the next resident.
Spills: Immediately clean up detergent, bleach, or fabric softener spills.
Trash: Empty trash cans and replace bags as needed.
Sweeping: It is mandatory that you sweep the floor when you're done using the laundry room. A broom and dustpan are provided in the laundry area.
Surfaces: Clear the clothes folding counter after use.
Personal Items: Do not leave baskets, hangers, or supplies behind. Items left unattended for extended periods may be removed.
3. Respect for Others
Please promptly remove your laundry from the machines once the cycle is complete. If laundry is left in a machine for more than 10 minutes after the cycle has ended, it may be carefully placed on the clothes folding counter opposite the machines.
Do not remove another resident’s laundry except as noted above.
Keep noise to a minimum and respect shared space.
4. Access & Security
The laundry room is secured with a personal pin code system.
All entries and exits are logged electronically for safety and accountability.
Pin codes must not be shared with other residents, guests, or outside individuals under any circumstances.
Sharing a code or granting access to unauthorized persons may result in loss of laundry privileges and further action as determined by the Board.
5. Safety & Security
Laundry room door can be left open while you're doing laundry but should be closed/locked at all other times.
Do not allow non-residents to use the facilities.
Report any suspicious activity immediately to the Board of Directors.
Failure to follow these rules may result in a warning, fines, or suspension of laundry room privileges.
Thank you for helping us maintain a clean, safe, and respectful laundry room for everyone.
